Q. The sun appeared as the black spot on the picture. Is this a malfunction?

A. No, it is normal.

This happens when a camera with the SMOS sensor is pointed at a scene with a very bright light like the sun. To avoid this “black spot,” try not to point the camera sunward when you take pictures. Some users erase the spot on the pictures with an image-editing software.

This is the example of the

Q. My camera doesn’t work with the “C1” sign on the display. Why?

A. “C1” appears when there is a problem with the SD card not with the camera.

First, please try another SD card and see if it works.

Possible reasons:
1.The camera does not recognize some SD cards, and shows the sign. (Kingstone Micro SD cards are often reported this case.)
2.When the data on the SD card is damaged, the camera recognizes it as an abnormal external memory.
3.The write-protection of the SD card is locked in the camera.

In the case of 1. or 2., try another SD card and see if it works. If this does not work, format the card with a format software on the computer before you use.
Please note that, when you use a free format software, we cannot compensate for the data.
In the case of 3., unlock the write-protection.

If these do not help, please contact us. It might be an incipient failure.

Q. Why does the battery run out so fast?

A. Even the power is off, the camera requires constant power because of its simple structure. This causes battery drain. Please take battery off when you don't use camera.

If the battery power becomes low, the camera will beep and turn itself down automatically. At this point, you cannot turn it on by pressing the Mode button.

Remove the battery and reinsert the battery. The camera recognizes the low power and allows you to take a few photos.

Q. The pattern-like noise appeared on the picture. Why?

A. This is not an incipient failure: This occurs when the battery is low.

When the battery is discharged, low, or is a magnesium battery, some stripe patterns might appear in photos.

This does not happen with all products: under the condition, some cameras show this noise and some don’t. This is one of the natures of toy cameras.

To reduce image noise happening frequency, please change the battery or set the low resolution mode.
